Syncing multicam footage in Premiere Pro

WaveSync ships a Premiere Pro panel that builds the synced sequence inside the project you already have open — no export, no import, no relinking.

The panel

The plugin is a CEP extension. It installs automatically the first time you open WaveSync, and appears under Window › Extensions › WaveSync after Premiere is restarted.

It reads the bins you select, runs the same engine the desktop app runs, and creates a correctly-sized sequence with each source on its own track. Your media is already in the project, so nothing is copied, re-imported or relinked.

Versions

Premiere Pro 2019 through 2026. CEP covers a far wider range of hosts than the newer UXP extension format, which is why the panel is built this way.

Or export instead

If you would rather not use the panel, WaveSync exports FCP7 XML (.xml), which Premiere Pro imports as a sequence with the clips already in position. The same file also opens in a number of other editors that read the format.
